Living in Darkness

I was living in darkness and totally lost,
Displeasing you, not thinking of the cost.
Living in a world of sin,
I did not have a true friend.
I was so blind that I could not see
The child that you created me to be.
Forgive me, Father, for all of my sins
I desire to please you and make amends.
Help me, Father, I need you with all my heart.
Please give me another change to make a new start.
I’m begging and pleading, please hear my cry.
I lift my voice to reach the sky.
I want to feel your loving embrace.
Humbly, Lord, I am seeking your face.
I wish to be with you, eternally.
Thank you Lord for loving me.
